Our rally and open day 2012 took place on Sunday 12th August, run in conjunction with the Avon Valley Railway , This year the theme of the event was a celebration the 50th anniversary of the Bristol RE type of bus. We hoped to get at least 50 Bristol REs to the event, but we didn't quite make it. See which ones were entered .

Photo: Ken Jones There was be a static display of buses and vintage cars at Brislington Park and Ride site (just off the A4 between Bristol and Bath), and free vintage bus services will run to numerous locations around the city, out into the surrounding countryside and to Bath. A free shuttle bus service ran to the Avon Valley Railway, where steam trains ran that also connected with boat trips on the river Avon.
